Meridian Chem-Dry’s carpet cleaning process is better and healthier than the ones employed by other local cleaning services. Chem-Dry’s unique hot carbonating extraction uses bubbles to release more dirt and grime from your carpets, delivering a deeper and longer-lasting clean. Because our process is so effective, we clean carpets with a fraction of the liquid required by methods like steam cleaning. This allows our just-cleaned carpets to dry faster – typically in two hours or less.

Pet odors can linger for months if not treated properly. In order to remove urine odors for good, the sources of odor must be eliminated. Meridian Chem-Dry uses a patented system, P.U.R.T.® (or Pet Urine Removal Treatment), to completely break down the millions of concentrated urine crystals that cause the odor. We eliminate crystals up in the carpet and down below in the padding. We also eliminate the foul-smelling bacteria that feed on the crystals. Any treatment that does less is simply masking the pet urine odor – and not solving the problem.

As a general rule, industry experts suggest scheduling at least two professional carpet cleanings per year. Regular cleanings will not only improve your home’s appearance, but will eliminate germs and allergens, improve your indoor air quality, and remove deep-down grit that can shorten the life of your carpet. For homes with children, pets, or persons suffering from allergies or asthma, Meridian Chem-Dry suggests scheduling three or four carpet cleanings per year.

As we do with carpets, Meridian Chem-Dry uses our proprietary hot carbonating extraction process to clean upholstery. Our hot bubbles are very effective at releasing dirt, soil, allergens, and stains from deep within upholstery fibers; once loosened, these materials can be easily removed by our powerful, truck-mounted extraction equipment. The result: Beautiful upholstery – and a deeper, healthier clean than Olympia’s other cleaning services can provide.

No. Carpet steam cleaning features volumes of hot, soapy water applied at high pressure. Meridian Chem-Dry’s process applies a carbonated solution, at low pressure, in much lower volumes. We use about 80% less liquid than typical steam cleaners.
